We run events for a number of CCGs (collectable card games) here at Rules of Play.
Thursday Night Magic (TNM) every Thursday night from 18:00 until 22:00. TNM at Rules of Play is a friendly event suitable for all levels of experience. £5.00 entrance for constructed gets you a booster plus prizes for high placers; £12 gets you adrafting place (rares are backdrafted by winners)
Friday Night Magic (FNM) every Friday night from 18:00 until 22:00. A friendly but competitive night, entrance fee £5, which provides a booster for participation and one for a prize pool, as well as the current FNM Promo.
The first and third Friday of the month are also Commander nights for our growing band of multiplayer fans – check the local player group for more details.
We also run regular Sunday sessions for different formats – check our FB page for details of the next event!
Dragon’s Maze - we will be running pre-release events on the weekend of 26th/28th April, and release fun and games on the following weekend 3rd/5th May. Games Day will take place on Sunday 26th May.

Saturday Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament – every Saturday* from 13:00 until 17:00. Entrance is £5, which gets you an Astral Pack for participation, and a booster into the prize pool. Check for further details via our Facebook page.
*When a new set us released, the format changes sightly – we run a Sneak Peek starting at 11am, entry is £17 (earlybird) or £19. Call the store if you are not sure which event is on this week.
We’re really excited to be running organised play for the new Japanese CCG, Cardfight Vanguard – we run a weekly tournament at 12noon on Sundays. Entry is £5 which gets a promo pack for participation (for the first 16 people to book) and a booster per person into the prize pool. We also run special events for new set releases – call the store or chack Facebook for details.
We run a monthly, casual World of Warcraft TCG day one Sunday a month. Come along and see why the World of Warcraft card game is making such an impression, and meet our local friendly group of players. Next event is on Sunday 21st April.
